COLONOSCOPY DEATH CAUSED BY MEDICAL MALPRACTICE

Colonoscopy death caused by Medical Malpractice yields $900,000 settlement for family.  A hole was poked through the woman’s colon, an act that is generally considered Malpractice. However, the surgeon kept “inflating” her colon so he could see.  While she was partially conscious, the air leaked into her abdominal cavity ultimately compressing her lungs and heart.  She died on the table. She was survived by her husband.
