CRASH SUIT SETTLES FOR $5.1 MILLION

$5.1 million paid by insurance carriers for a local trucking firm and one of its drivers. The Buffalo woman sustained disabling injuries in a collision with a dump truck in Lancaster, New York. Jury selection was about to begin in her negligence trial in State Supreme Court against a transportation company and one of its truck drivers,

The insurance carriers paid $1.2 million immediately and made additional payments totaling $3.9 million.

The victim had facial, head and leg injuries and was hospitalized at ECMC after the collision.
