The widow and daughter of a truck driver who was killed in a collision on the Thruway will receive more than $3.2 Million as the result of a jury verdict reached in State Supreme Court in Niagara Falls.
The driver was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving stuck the rear of another tractor-trailer during a heavy snow squall that caused a whiteout on the Thruway. The vehicle in front was found totally at fault.
A jury of four men and two women deliberated about 2½ hours before returning the verdict in favor of the survivors who were from Detroit.
