Our Attorneys

Deanna DeVries Russell is an associate with J. Michael Hayes Personal Injury Attorneys, beginning her career with the firm as a legal secretary and going on to pursue her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating Cum Laude in 2002. She was also the recipient of the Edith and David Goldstein Award for outstanding performance in debtor-creditor and bankruptcy law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the United States District Court, Western District Court of New York. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in December of 1994.

A Buffalo native, Russell has worked exclusively in the Plaintiff’s personal injury arena since entering the legal field in 1996. She has served as the secretary for the Charles S. Desmond American Inn of Court and served as a Board member for Impact Artists Gallery, a member Artists’ gallery previously located in the Tri-Main Building in Downtown Buffalo.
Russell is married, has two children and resides in the Town of Clarence. She has over 20 years of experience in the personal injury field and takes pride in her commitment to her clients and to their cases.
